0630 – sunrise yoga
0800 – 1st dive
1030 – 2nd dive
1500 – 3rd dive
1730 – sunset yoga
1830 – dinner and night activities
Do I need any experience in diving or yoga prior to the Retreat?
No experience is required! Whether you’re new to yoga or diving, our retreat is designed for all levels. We offer daily yoga sessions to guide you through the fundamentals, and for diving, we provide training and courses onsite with certified instructors. Just bring an open mind and a willingness to explore!
How do we get to the island?
Getting to Cabilao Island is easy with our recommended route, included in your retreat package. Fly into Bohol-Panglao International Airport (TAG), where we’ll pick you up with a private minibus transfer to the nearby ferry terminal (about 60-75 minutes). From there, a quick speedboat ride takes you directly to our resort.
Alternative Options: If you’re arriving earlier or later, flights to Panglao connect from hubs like Manila or Cebu. You can arrange a taxi or tricycle to the ferry terminal (20-30 minutes) and take a public ferry or hired boat to Cabilao. Contact us for tailored advice based on your travel plans!
When do I need to Arrive
In order to meet the planned transfer you’ll need to be in the Bohol Airport or Panglao area by 1pm on the 5th of July. This is planned to correspond with the arrival of the Air Asia flight from Manila.
You can come earlier to enjoy Bohol, however if you plan to arrive later – you may need to Make your own travel arrangements to the island.
Recommended Flights
If you’re coming from Dubai, you have a few options:
- Emirates
- Philippines Airlines (PA)
- Cebu Pacific
This list is roughly in descending costs. If you’re coming from Dubai, you can take either Emirates or PA to Manila overnight on Friday the 4th of July, and then take the Air Asia flight (Z2 358) to Panglao International Airport (TAG) in Bohol arriving at 1pm.
Once booked, we’ll be more than happy to provide further guidance on flight options.
Can I arrive before the retreat date, or stay after?
You can certainly come earlier as Bohol, and the Philippines have plenty to offer. Just be sure to arrive in Panglao, Bohol ready for the arranged transport mentioned above.
You are also welcome to stay on after at the resort or elsewhere. Transport from the resort will be available at the end of the retreat.
Do we need a visa for the Philippines?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Many countries (e.g., the US, UK, Canada, and EU nations) enjoy visa-free entry for up to 30 days for tourism. Check your specific requirements with your local embassy or the Philippine Bureau of Immigration. For a handy guide, see Wikipedia’s page on Visa policy of the Philippines. You’ll need a passport valid for at least 6 months from arrival and proof of onward travel.
Do you cater for specific dietary requirements?
Yes, we’ve got you covered! Vegetarian options will be available at all meals, and we’ll do our best to accommodate other dietary needs or allergies. Please let us know your requirements when booking, and we’ll assess and attempt to cater to them as possible. Your health and enjoyment are our priorities!

Do we need specific travel jabs or vaccines to take part?
No specific vaccinations are required to enter the Philippines for most travelers, but we recommend checking with your doctor 6-8 weeks before travel. The CDC and WHO suggest the following for the Philippines:
- Routine vaccines: Ensure you’re up to date on measles-mumps-rubella (MMR), diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, varicella, and polio.
- Hepatitis A: Recommended due to potential food and water risks.
- Typhoid: Advisable for travelers eating local cuisine.
- Rabies: Consider if you’ll be in rural areas or around animals (optional for most).
- Malaria: Low risk on Cabilao, but mosquito repellent is wise for comfort.
Yellow fever vaccination is required only if arriving from a country with a transmission risk. Visit the CDC’s Philippines Traveler Health page for the latest advice.
Do we need travel insurance?
While not mandatory, we strongly recommend travel insurance, especially when visiting a developing tropical country like the Philippines. It’s wise to have coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and diving activities. Policies with at least $50,000 in emergency medical and $100,000 in medical evacuation coverage are ideal for peace of mind.
What should we bring?
Bring yourself and a smile—that’s the essentials! We recommend packing swimsuits, comfortable yoga clothes, and any personal dive equipment if you have it (though we provide gear for training and dives). Lightweight clothing, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and insect repellent are also handy for enjoying Cabilao’s tropical vibe.
Are there any other activities available?
In addition to your yoga and diving adventures, we offer an optional excursion into Bohol as a paid extra for those eager to explore more! This guided adventure takes you to iconic spots like the stunning Chocolate Hills, the adorable Tarsier Sanctuary, the serene Man-made Forest, and other hidden gems waiting to be discovered. It’s a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in Bohol’s natural wonders and vibrant biodiversity, adding a special day of exploration to your retreat. Pricing and sign-up details will be provided closer to the date—opt in for an unforgettable experience!
